The story behind FST Auto Services' rise to prominence is a case study in how perseverance pays off, as MIKE MONK discovers.
The idea started in 2009 with three Soweto entrepreneurs. FST Auto Services — the first technology-driven service centre in Soweto — is part of the Bosch Service Network, with access to the latest Bosch Automotive technology. FST is an abbreviation for Fika, Siyabonga and Themba, the first names of the business partners. Themba Mazibuko was the link between the other two partners, Fika Nkosi and Siyabonga Lubede.
