THE National Empowerment Fund (NEF), which is mandated to grow black economic empowerment in South Africa, says the R3 million-loan it will give the Black Business Council (BBC) will enhance programmes to enable the emancipation of more black entrepreneurs.
NEF Chief Executive, Philisiwe Buthelezi, said this week, NEF had signed an agreement with the BBC, a coalition of black business associations, which will see the BBC receive grant funding from the development financier.
