HELPING HAND A new un, as een esfaii”is ed to—prov.ide SMMEs. Called the Enterprise Development Fund (EDF), it will offer loans ranging from R250 000 to R75 million. The difference between this fund and other products offered by the National Empowerment Fund (NEF) is that big business will be asked to contribute 3% of their annual net profits to fund these loans.
