Financial boost for small businesses
BLOEMFONTEIN – ABOUT 20 Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) in the Free State last year secured over R15 million in funding from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTIC) under the Black Business Supplier Development Programme (BBSDP), Public Eye learnt this week. The SMMEs which are mostly involved in manufacturing, construction and services applied for the BBSDP funding with the assistance of the Mangaung Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and business consultancy firm Letlotlo Ranyathole & Associates.
