South Africa’s Department of Trade and Industry (dtic) offers two rebates: The Foreign Film and Television Production and Post-Production Incentive and The South African Film and Television Production and Co-Production Incentive. These are the only two rebates on the continent at present and the most important incentives of the South African film financing landscape.
