Empowering women, GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS: Ezasegagasini Metro
WOMEN need to take up their roles as community builders, not just home builders and government has made resources available for this to happen. _ These are the sentiments that were echoed by the different speakers at the 20 years of freedom celebration luncheon for spouses of Traditional Leaders, hosted by the Municipality at the City Hall recently. Speaker of the Provincial Legislature, Ms Lydia Johnson, said government has made tremendous progress in championing women rights in all sectors and spheres of government and as such women need to start looking at how they can . exploit these opportunities.
