Held in Sandhurst, Sandton on Friday afternoon, the event included Gauteng Premier, Nomvula Mokonyane; Jennifer Feinberg, director of the Rothschild Group and Kunyalala Maohisa, president of the Business Women's Association (BWASA). Speaking at the event, Chief Executive Officer for NEF, Philisiswe Buthulezi said that while BEE has contributed to economic transformation in South Africa, there were still a number of challenges to address. Buthulezi said that black contribution to the stock exchange has declined in 2011 and urged organisations to continue investing in black owned businesses.
