Sales Hire (R22.5 million)

Sales Hire (established in 1990) is a Cape Town-based company that specialises in the hire of building equipment and other related tools.

The transaction was enterprising in that existing managers in the business (each with at least 5 years’ experience) were selected to acquire and own the respective outlets that the managed. The chosen outlets have previously been profitable and the NEF was, through the iMbewu investment team. Through the NEF’s assistance nine manages were able to become owners through a franchising agreement with Sales Hire.
