R3 million for processing and manufacturing slate and tiles in the North West

The NEF has approved finance for the processing and manufacturing of slate and tiles in Reitvalley near Groot Marico in Rustenburg, North West.

The company is a 90% BEE owned. Through acquisition and cooperation, the NEF was able to aid in the obtaining of the slate quarry facility. In addition the facility will be used to expand the production capacity of the mine. Mentorship and support is continually provided to give assistance so as to ensure proper skills transfer to the company.
