IN the light of these statistics it is clear that starting a business off a small business owner in South Africa poses major challenges. Despite the acknowledgement of SME's as a job creator, wealth creator, deliverer of important services and products, by role players which include government, the climate is not conducive to stimulate entrepreneurship development in South Africa.
