POLOKWANE – The National Empowerment Fund (NEF) launched the Limpopo office at Bolivia Lodge last Friday.
NEF was established by the National Empowerment Fund Act No 105 of 1998, to promote and facilitate black economic equality and transformation. Its mandate and mission is to be a vehicle for Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE).
The NEF's role is to support BBBEE and to anticipate future funding and investment requirements to assist black entrepreneurs and communities to achieve each element of the codes of good practice.
