ECDC pumps R1 million into green hotel, Getnews.co.za – Get News
The Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) is pumping R1 million from its own budget towards the construction of South Africa’s first “green” hotel at Elliotdale on the Wild Coast.
The Corporation said in a statement this morning that the 100-room Nkanya Lodge would cost R50 million and would be “the first of its kind where the energy generated will be from entirely green sources such as wind and solar”.
