Elliotdale goes green, Thenewage.co.za
The Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) has pledged R1m towards the construction of South Africa’s “first ever” green hotel which will be based at Elliotdale near Mthatha at the Wild Coast.
Estimated to cost R50m, the 100-room Nkanya Lodge will be the first of its kind where the energy generated will be from entirely green sources such as wind and solar.
