NEF reopens BEE funding tap, Ujuh.co.za – Ujuh
The National Empowerment Fund (NEF) has reopened the doors for new applications for funding on the back of existing capital reserves and what appears to be a firm promise by government to recapitablise the black economic empowerment (BEE) focused funder.
The NEF released a statement yesterday saying its board has resolved to lift the mauratoium on funding new projects. The NEF suspended the funding of new projects about 12 months ago after government failed to recapitalise it.
