Dressed to kill at Sona, The New Age
MPS arrived at Parliament in style, dressed to kill in what has become a traditional fashion day in South Africa's political calendar. However, this time the state of the nation address was muted lacking the usual hype and vibe when MPs take to the red carpet with their partners. New Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Bheki Cele was in his usual fashion element as he put on a brown suit, with a matching hat. He was accompanied by his wife, Thembeka Cele, who set tongues wagging on the red carpet with her outfit matching her husband's. Not to be outdone Mandla Mandela arrived with his wife, Mbali MakhathiniMandela, dressed in traditional Xhosa attire. The Cape Town weather spared the members of the national legislature the wet conditions, following the heavy downpours at the weekend, making it an easy day for new members.
