Ithala to be developer of Drakensberg project, Iol.co.za – Iol News
The Ithala Development Finance Corporation is to be appointed as the developer of the proposed R500 million Drakensberg cableway project, the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs has confirmed.
Department spokesman Bheko Madlala said Ithala would drive funding for the project. The department was also looking to woo potential financial backers, including the Development Bank of South Africa, the National Empowerment Fund and the Industrial Development Corporation.
