Google statistics on the number of people who have been reading about Eyethu Orange Farm Mall here on BizNews reveal that it is likely to be a popular shopping destination for many residents who live between Johannesburg and Vereeniging. No doubt the interest in the shopping centre is also because of its ownership structure, with 10% owned by the community. You can invest in the mall through the JSE-listed REIT Dipula Income Fund, which has a 30% stake. Dipula has a relatively small market capitalisation and has been ticking up in value in recent months, as you can see in the chart below.
