Empowerment fund helps businesses, RIDGE TIMES
eMBALENHLE -The National Empowerment Fund (NEF) hosted the Businesses to Investor Education Campaign that took place at the Sijongile Damase Hall on Thursday, 13 November. This campaign enabled the NEF to bring more South Africans into the economic mainstream by bridging the gap between the first and second economies, by seeking to educate South Africans on how the equity markets work, to expose them to the various investment classes, to encourage South Africans to move away from traditional methods of savings and investments as they are not as lucrative as options in the formal market.
