Celebrating Women’s Month: NEF supports Ando Pharma, a majority women-owned Pharmaceutical Company
In celebration of Women’s Month and with Women’s Day approaching on 9 August, the National Empowerment Fund (NEF) is proud to announce its support for Ando Pharma, a South African pharmaceutical company that is majority black women-owned and dedicated to enhancing healthcare accessibility.
Empowering Women in Pharma
Ando Pharma, located in Stikland, Cape Town, is a 100% black-owned company, with 66.66% of its ownership held by women shareholders. The company specializes in the importation and supply of critical drugs, including Benzathine Benzylpenicillin 1.2-million-unit injections, Benzathine Benzylpenicillin 2.4-million-unit injections, and Dacarbazine 200mg injections.
