CHANGES: Former Telkom Media CEO appointed chairman MONIQUE VANEK PUBLIC Enterprises Minister Malusi Gigaba yesterday replaced three non-executive Broadband Infraco board members and filled four of the five board vacancies. The board changes were announced at a special general meeting of Broadband Infraco after similar changes at state-owned entities Eskom and Denel. Broadband Infraco, the state-owned company tasked with bringing down telecommunication costs by making long-distance communications infrastructure available to competing private sector companies, appointed Mandla Ngcobo, 51, as chairman.
